I may or may not have taken my cat for a walk to the park yesterday with a harness on him.

He really likes being outside and I thought he might enjoy it. After being freaked out for the first 15-20 mins he really started to like it and I'm actually going to do it again.

Then I realize- I'm taking my cat for a walk! Crazy cat lady alert!!

Side note: I really miss chicago today. I woke up and started dreaming about my favorite time of year there, the fall. When things are just starting to get crisp, girls bust out their cutest new fall clothing, and there's that little nip in the air. Think I'm going to book another trip to chicago around november- i'm getting a little home sick...

So this lady literally lives two doors down from us. I never would've known who she was except the lady who helped us get this place made a huge deal outta it.





Personally, I'm not going to take dieting advice from ANYone that was or is classified as a super model. Suck my toe.

Awkward Alert: Oprah and Drew Brees Birthmark

So Drew Brees has a facial birthmark. It's not crazy noticable or anything, it's light and not huge or hideous but it's there. If you watched more than one pre or post superbowl interview you knew it was there. Apparently Oprah did not get the memo. Watch the above clip while she calls out his birthmark by asking him "Who you been kissing?" and wipes his face! Don't people prep her for this s##t?! A few more of these and people are not going to be so sad when 2011 rolls around Ms. Winfrey.

yummy cheese pear-ing

I'm obsessed with this gourmet store called Gelson's that's right down the street from us. It's like Whole Foods, but better. I was wandering around the other night and came across this delish looking roasted garlic bread. It's pretty much a great crusty loaf with whole roasted garlic cloves baked into it.

Looking in the cheese area, I decided I was in the mood for a goat cheese and ended up with a seven pepper chevre. I got home and started munching away on thinly sliced bread, lightly toasted, chevre spread on top and a thin pear slive on top. Sooo freaking good. I even got John on board!

In fact, last night (night two of bread-pear-cheese combo) we ended up just eating that and drinking wine for dinner. It was so funny, John stops and tells me: "A, you've got to take a bite and drink it with some wine- it's so freaking good." haha, yes John, that's why I poured us wine. ^_^
